Our dance workshops are exclusive to our group – the general passengers onboard will not be allowed to join in - which will be hosted by Warren Bullock and Jane Phillips (former European and World Professional 10 dance finalist and currently ‘Top Teacher of the Year' winners for the last six years!) who will give tips on how to improve your dancing, covering aspects including, leading, posture, the hold, timing, footwork, as well as teaching some new and useful variations in both Ballroom and Latin American – all delivered with their own uniquely humorous and enjoyable approach.
Dance workshops will be split into two groups, one for social dancers and one for the more advanced dancers. As it will be your holiday, you will be free to do as much or as little dancing as you like, its up to you! Indeed, we even get some people who join our group just to enjoy our group benefits and take advantage of our great prices and superb group atmosphere!
As members of our dance group, you are also invited to a private VIP cocktail party where you will be able to meet your hosts, Warren and Jane along with your other dancing guests, which should help you to get to know everyone and ensure your holiday is one you will never forget.
General dancing is often available most evenings that will be Ballroom and Latin orientated although as with all aspects of cruising, this is dependant on the ships itinerary and management. Whether you just want to social dance or practice what you've learnt at the workshops, the choice is yours! The atmosphere and friendliness in our dance group is second to none and we have an extremely high repeat passenger ratio which speaks for itself – basically, you'll have the most fabulous dancing holiday of your life!
On the cruises, we try to reserve the premier position in the dining room for our group who usually all sit within the same vicinity. This has proved a very popular idea as having made many new friends at the dance workshops, it is then nice to sit and talk to those friends at dinner which always ensures the evenings are something to look forward to – dancers are always such friendly people and you are bound to make lots of friends.
If you prefer to be on your own – no problem, just let us know. Singles are always welcome and we will always do our best to find you a partner to dance with. Some ships have single cabins, but some don't. However, we operate a cabin share scheme to keep costs down where we will put you in contact with other singles looking to share so its always worth giving us a call!
Our formula for the cruise's can and does vary – in addition, we sometimes have a dance quiz, a demonstration or extra general dancing to CD's but one things for sure – you'll have a brilliant time – ask anyone who's been on one!
